The V'ed up hamster is a reference to the pet of Blarney Cock: In the comics, Herbie the Hamster was found by Hughie, adopted, and renamed "Jamie". Blarney Cock was eventually resurrected and attempted to retrieve the hamster only to be killed again.
The taco bowl scene is a callback to Donald Trump's outreach to the Latino community with a taco bowl on Cinco de Mayo when he was running in 2016.
At the beginning of the break-in at the Russian chemical plant, Mother's Milk called out "Red Dawn, m...f..." when killing the guard. That was in reference to the film Red Dawn (1984), where a group of high school students were confronted by the surprise Soviet invasion of the United States and fought against the Soviet soldiers. Mother's Milk also says "Rocky 4." In reference to Rocky IV (1985) where main antagonist Ivan Drago came from the Soviet Union to take on American boxing champion Rocky.
