This is my first crime documentary, so I do not have too much to compare with. I have already known somewhat about the course of the events from Wikipedia article, so the show should have dipped me deep in the history of Mormonism and document dealing. And I think "Murder among the Mormons" has done this job adequately, showing the underbelly and to some extent - motives of parties involved. News and interviews footage of those years is neatly woven into the narrative too.
Some things have remained unclear to me. "Why would you want to kill your counterparty's respresentative when you are about to have a deal?" - is probably one of the most intriguing questions I have after watching.
Also I want to note how absorbing are parts narrated by former Mark Hoffman's associates, undoubtedly intellegent guys.
Overall, it's good, but a bit confusing.
