- Having resolved their situation and with an ample supply of breathable air, Dr. Rush turns his attention to their limited power supply. His short temper - not to mention his tantrums - is grating on everyone and Col. Young tries to establish some control over the scientist's activities. Rush has been working virtually non-stop, leading him to collapse. When the power fails completely the occupants find themselves hurtling into a new solar system. Elsewhere, several of the refugees record messages and some are on the verge of rebellion thinking information is being withheld from them. Eli is forced to help calm them.—garykmcd
- While Dr.Rush is trying to solve the power problems the team is activating a lot of machines that make the ship drop out of FTL and go dark to sustain all the remaining power to the shields and lifesupport. Dr.Rush has a nervious breakdown because of the lack of caffeine that leaves the team hanging around not knowing what to do next while the ship is seem to be heading towards a gas giant that is located in a small solar system that may have habitable planets. When they get close to the planet they realize that the ship has planed a cource to slinshot itself around the planet to another heading belived to save the people that are on board but further caculations after they pass the planet reviel that the ship isnt heading towards any planet but directly in the sun.
