A peak into the creation of the masterpieces that The Beatles created
thomasjackporteus1 August 2021
As a new gen Beatles fan, I have watched many Beatles documentaries and this one takes the cake for me. I've only watched this episode so far so allow me saying that Paul gives the rawest, most honest stories that I have seen of this kind of musical documentary. The deconstruction of the timeless music is absolutely fascinating and Rick Rubin does a great job in asking the questions that everyone wants to know. (While awkwardly passing over the Billy Shears lines in Sgt Pepper.) Overall, this is a great watch.

great series

Rubin looks like he just rolled out of bed, or was expecting it to be a meditation class. He couldn't show up in something slightly more stylish than barefeet, boxer shorts, and an oversized t-shirt?

That's really my only negative. The rest is great and Rick does a nice job interviewing Paul, and the various mixing board tweaks are entertaining, as are Paul's stories.
