Hannah Wyatt the child actor who plays "Kira" had to keep going under the water to get the shot for the poster. There were hundreds of little fish all around her which had to be edited out in the final photo.
On the wall of Dr Night's clinic is "Ophelia" is a painting by British artist Sir John Everett Millais. It depicts Ophelia, a character from William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, singing before she drowns in a river in Denmark. A tie in to the tragedy of the drowning in the film.
