Percy Honri is shown as the face of the man in the moon in this Sagar & Mitchell short.
It's obviously meant to play off the reputation of an entertainer who is now utterly forgotten. Percy was the son of two entertainers who formed a family act, with him billed as "the world's greatest concertina player". Some time in the early 1890s he went solo. By 1918 he was starring in his own musical show in London, which seems to have run, in one form or another, ten years. He died in 1953, aged 79.
