Excellent song, weird video

Although in the majority of countries The Church is best known for their mega-hit "Under the Milky Way", at least here "Metropolis" gets the silver medal for being their other hit and it's amazingly beautiful song filled with heart and magnificent sound. It's a nice trip to the senses.

However, as much as I love the song I don't think it got the video it deserved. It's good but it's too simplistic for my taste. A video with a storyline would suit this better since the lyrics present such possible scenario of a guy in love with an amazing woman and her wonderful acts.

What we get here is the group performing the song on a small club with unusual characters who enjoy the performance while an eccentric master of cereminoies conducts everything with his crazed moves and unusual facial expressions. The distorted camera look makes it all too weird as the great song plays along. Not much of an interesting way to sell the song unless you're truly focused on the lead singer's voice, the lyrics and the sounds created. Anyway, it's quite enjoyable. 9/10.
