I saw this film back in 2009 at the Sydney international horror film festival. If I remember correctly it was the opening film of the festival too. I thought the acting from the main male lead and the girl in the red dress was good, although the girl in the red dress became a bit of a joke with the make up in the end. Also the female with the shaved head did a decent job of acting.
Not sure if the audio issues where cos of the screening or because of how they were recorded and layers, but still good, loved the score too.
I'd love to know what these guys are doing now, nothing seems to be listed on IMDb for them recently, which I'm hoping isn't a sign that these talented Indy film makers aren't still making films.

The death scene at the end is great look at the actors eyes. They're full of fear and they look soulless and dead. Thought that was wonderful considering the actor has really beautiful blue eyes which you see throughout the film, well done the actor for there performance in that scene.
