The ending has all the feels. So enjoying this show and Queen Latifah is amazing and gorgeous and her with Chris Noth is just fun.

A bit slower than the debut but certainly a good showing!

While the first episode was nothing less than action packed drama, this episode gave us subtle action and a more in depth look into the background of McCall. After advertising her services, McCall and team are called to action after a young boy is kidnapped. While all sides appear to take issue with her going independent, she is most attuned to her daughters need for her undivided attention. It's great to learn more about her former life as a CIA agent and the complexities it created in her personal and current professional life. I'm looking forward to watching the next episode in hopes that more will be revealed.

Much better than the first episode!

Episode 2, "Glory" is a much better episode than the first one. We see Queen Latifah begin to gel into her action hero role. Her daughter is now acting like nicer young lady, with her face much more naturally made up. Really like the grandmother, and the three have many adventures ahead.

More Chris Noth, please! Chris and Queen have a nice chemistry developing, that does not have to result in romance. Their banter is flowing more naturally and is fun to watch.

The story was a crime story that we have pretty much seen done before. What is different is the team that gets the job done.

The end of this episode is uplifting and pretty darned nice. New York City,,,yes!

LOVE IT! Annoying the right people.

Second episode hits the ground running. Definitely liking this new incarnation of The Equalizer. Updated for the modern age.

Gave it a few extra stars because it is annoying the perpetually offended who whine about it not being Edward Woodwards Equalizer. Basically they despise anything that hasn't been whitewashed for their viewing pleasure. Haters will always hate.

Simple as this, if you don't like it, don't watch it! Take your whining ass away and watch something else that's more in tune with your viewing pleasure.

Dreadful

Too many peripheral things going on. Guess I'm still comparing it to the series back in 1980's. I might watch episode 3 next week, and oh yea, about episode 3, am I looking at this correctly that there are only 3 episodes in the can.

I wanted so much more

Bye bye

Great Messages so far

Love this show, Great show for mother daughter nights & Queen Latifa's character is so great and powerful. So far there isn't anything inappropriate or anything I wouldn't be comfortable with my family watching. Totally recommend. Good show to watch justice served with a good storyline and no unnecessary grittiness that a lot of tv shows have nowadays.

Amateur writing at best.

"I'm using my powers for good."

Um...what?!!

So much telling, so little showing. It's as if people have forgotten how to write compelling drama. Instead we have characterization by quip.

I'll give it one more week before I'm out.

Glory

The rebooted The Equalizer suffers some of the same problems as the rebooted Walker.

Both were tough no nonsense loners in the original. In the new incarnation they are saddled with kid(s).

So the main story of the week as to give way to the domestics and establishing a story and character arcs.

Robyn McCall comes to the aid of a kidnapped boy by a bunch of east European human traffickers.

At the same time she needs to do a deal with her former employers, the CIA.

On her tail are the cops who have no time for vigilante justice and now the FBI.

It feels like a fast food burger meal. Not very nutritious and forgettable.

There was some originality with the socially distanced Times Square song sequence.
