This totally makes sense to me. Spoiled white middle class kid with dreams of glory, being loved by everyone and turn into one of the biggest names in hip hop history suddenly has a mild success. Now he's faced with the world around him transforming, he's encountering people that's bigger than him and somehow, he's not that great yet. So he becomes a brat, he charges against the only two people that have the patience for him (GaTa and Mike) and he walks like he's the greatest when in reality he's just small. Her exgirlfriend doesn't love him anymore and he's just feeling increasingly isolated. The only thing that he has right now is Lil Dicky, a semi rap star that's more known as a viral character tham an actual rapper. He has only that to fuel his ego and the void of loneliness.
