Last month, Kevin Feige stated that he had a master plan for every Marvel movie we would see before 2028 and prompted us to put together how the McU Master Plan should look, as well as who should play Marvel’s villains. But what of the heroes we haven’t yet met?
Naturally, since Feige has been keen to restate the idea of the McU as a single cohesive narrative, it’s unlikely that any reboots can happen without destabilising the entire thread, so there are the names we probably already know, but what of the new heroes?
The McU supremo claimed there are thousands of properties Marvel could draw from, but with the majority of the head-line acts already on screen, you have to look a little harder at which new heroes could extend the stable. And it is obvious that whoever the characters are, they will require excellent acting talents behind them.

It was always likely that Samuel L Jackson was going to play Nick Fury, given the fact that his face so pleasantly fit the design of the Ultimates version of Fury (which was unsurprising given that the character was based on him), no matter how upset David Hasselhoff clearly was to have been kicked out of the role after Stan Lee apparently called him “the ultimate Nick Fury” (ironically). If the former Baywatch star is to be used as an example of anything (and he probably already has been for other things) it’s that initial casting decisions in comic book movies aren’t always as perfect as the casters might initially imagine.
Thankfully, times have changed since the heyday of casting completely inappropriate people in important roles, and now we have solid decisions like Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor… Okay, so maybe the net isn’t as tight as it could be,...

Earlier this month, Kevin Feige hinted that he had a master plan for every Marvel movie we would see before 2028 – an astonishing claim that brought accusations of empty brinksmanship with a newly determined DC Entertainment who were outlining their own plans – and the world was immediately intrigued. How could any studio have the confidence to plan 14 years in advance when the path of sequels would invariably rely on financial returns? And who were the thousands of characters Feige had suggested could make their way into the McU?
We put together our own take on the McU Master Plan, and with 28 movies plotted it, attention must now turn to the actors who will take on the key villainous roles.
Strictly speaking, the Phalanx and the Kree who should appear in future Marvel movies (as well as the Skrull race, probably) wouldn’t necessarily require notable actors, or leading figures who would...

Has The Smuggler been found?
Last year, the Doctor Who fan world was treated to a great surprise when 11 missing episodes were recovered. Those included the entirety of “The Enemy of the World” and all but one episode of “The Web of Fear”. It was an impressive announcement and only served to whet our appetites for more. So in that spirit, let’s check in on the current rumour mill and see what’s happening.
First off, persistent rumours are circulating that all seven episodes of the First Doctor adventure “Marco Polo” have been recovered. There are multiple sources reporting this. Now the story itself was one of the most widely-sold non-Dalek stories, and is very highly-regarded. It’s also the first story to have all the footage missing, and the earliest story to have any missing footage. Finding it would be a real boon.
I am inclined to think this rumour is true.

Cliff takes us through ten Doctor Who stories still lost, from Marco Polo to Fury From The Deep...
Doctor Who was for the first twenty six years a series of serials, so episodes make up stories or serials, e.g. Power of the Daleks is a story or serial made up of six episodes, rather than ‘an episode’. Around 250 weekly instalments of Doctor Who were shown between 1963 and 1969. As of January 2014, 97 of these are not held by the BBC, or known to survive, and cannot be viewed - although they can be experienced in a number of ways. Although recent returns have massively helped in evening up the scores, you’ll note that there’s a slight bias towards Hartnell against Troughton for completely missing stories. Troughton still fares worse, however as he has fewer fully existing stories, seven complete stories versus Hartnell’s fifteen.

The Daleks very rightly sit on the very top rung of the Doctor Who ladder of rogues, along with the Cybermen and the Master. They are Doctor Who, almost as much as the Doctor himself, and their cross-cultural appeal means they invade properties beyond the boundaries of the Who universe.
But, like any property that has at various stages been blighted by sub-par writing – which is beyond all else the reason for the show’s initial demise – Doctor Who hasn’t always been kind to its most famous villains. Played for laughs too often – especially in appearances outside of Who episodes – and given some of the most comically terrible story-lines (as well as some of the best) the Daleks haven’t always been the most impressive villains.
Whisper it, but at times, Doctor Who has made Daleks look like idiots, with about as much threat as a giant salt grinder on wheels,...

When I first plotted out this article, my first thoughts were of the classics. Genesis of the Daleks, City of Death, Talons of Weng-Chiang, Pyramids of Mars, Earthshock and Tomb of the Cybermen all came to my mind, among the midst of other elite stories to compete for a spot in the Top 5. But then I thought again – they’re considered the best classic stories for a reason. I remember feeling very angry when I read that, had the 1995 movie been a success, they would have commissioned the show on Fox and they would remake Talons of Weng-Chiang set in New York and Tomb of the Cybs (renaming the Cybermen just should never happen). In my opinion, no matter how much money the BBC would throw at it, they would never be able to replicate the ‘Do I have the right?’ scene from Genesis of the Daleks or the friendship...

Where would the Doctor be without his companions? In recent years he’s had no more than two at a time, but in the Classic era, it felt sometimes like the Tardis was abuzz with activity. But still, one thing was for certain – every companion who strides in and mutters “it’s bigger on the inside!” for the first time has to eventually leave at some point in the future.
These exits have been varied. Quite a few have left to lead new lives with new loves in a foreign or distant land (either by location, or by time itself). A few have been simply written out abruptly, such as Liz Shaw, whose departure was simply mentioned in the following episode. Other characters have also failed at being companions – NuWho’s Adam stands out – while others have shuffled off mortal coil althogether, with Katarina being the first companion to die...

The Day of The Doctor is fast approaching and with November 23 marking 50 years of Doctor Who, much speculation abounds as to what will happen on that magical day and how it will affect Doctor Who for the next 50 years. Series Producer Marcus Wilson has described it as “a love letter to the fans,” but meeting fans expectations for such a momentous occasion are a tall order. The return of fan favorites David Tennant and Billie Piper as well as confirmed appearances by the Zygons (unseen on TV since 1975) and the Daleks are however, big steps in the right direction.
Steven Moffat is quoted as saying, “I’ve been lying my ass off for months!” and “Most things that have been said about the 50th are not true…Normally, I am responsible for the disinformation and rubbish rumors – I usually put them out myself, but I haven’t needed to for this one.

As the temperature plunges and winter sets in, let’s take some time to honor the one guy who probably won’t let the cold weather keep him from ripping his shirt off. So, which of Justin’s most recent shirtless pics if your favorite?
Say what you want about Justin Bieber, at least the guy stays dedicated to a movement once he starts one. Many months after the singer made going shirtless his thing, he’s still doing it — performing, hitting up clubs, and just plain strolling with his chest and abs exposed. Not that we’re complaining — in fact, we’ve compiled his best recent shirtless moments for your viewing pleasure!

So much happened on the Oct. 2 episode of ‘Nashville’ that I could barely catch my breath. A fan-favorite couple called it quits (for now), someone went behind Rayna’s back (how could they!) and new enemies infiltrated the country city. ‘Nashville’ is getting juicy, and I’m loving it!
After Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) used Rayna’s (Connie Britton) accident to boost her image and album sales, karma was bound to come back around and bite her. And it did. Juliette appeared on Conan to promote her music and all he asked about was Rayna. Rayna, Rayna, Rayna! Juliette was peeved to the max and on the warpath. To top it off, her album was getting outsold by The Best of Rayna James and the new guy at the record label, Jeff (Oliver Hudson), is not a Juliette fan.
But hey, Juliette and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) had a moment. He was being nice,...

Andrew counts down Doctor Who's top 10 Dalek stories, from Invasion Earth to The Power of the Daleks...
A cosmos without the Daleks scarcely bears thinking about.
Without the mutated remnants of the seemingly indestructible planet Skaro, we don't know if Doctor Who would have survived. If Terry Nation had dreamt up the Voord to menace Barbara in the series fifth episode, Den of Geek may well be paying tribute to Doctor Who as an obscure cult concern, cherished by a few but forgotten by many. Instead, we do things like this.
This list is not limited to the television series, because Doctor Who isn't limited to the television series. And hey, why not use our Comments Section to add your own list or express disbelief that I've not included Evil of the Daleks in mine?
10. Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.

As you may well know, BBC Books have released a series of novels in celebration of the shows much anticipated 50th birthday. The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Book Collection features 11 titles in total, one for each Doctor. All of these are original tales, except for Ben Aaronovitch’s Remembrance Of The Daleks, which is a reprint of the Target novelisation of the classic 1988 TV serial.
Who remembers the old Target novels? There has to be a good few other thirty something codgers like me out there who avidly collected them back in the day. We didn’t have a Vcr (remember those?) until the dawn of the 1990s in my house, so the Target books were my only way of storing classic Who stories for posterity. I had heaps of them, and being something of an obsessive compulsive child I had an ongoing conundrum over whether to arrange them in...

The Biebs has two reasons why you don’t wanna mess with him in the club — Bicep #1 and Bicep #2. A day after the sexy singer was accosted in a Toronto nightclub, he took to Instagram to prove that he and his guns are no joke.
We all know Justin Bieber likes to go shirtless from time to time (and by “time to time,” we mean “all the time”), but he’s just reminding his critics to watch their steps. And of course, he also does all that flexing for his admirers!
Justin Bieber Flaunts His Abs
He was doing a little bit of both on Sept. 1 when he posted an Instagram picture of himself on an Atv — shirtless, obviously — with sunglasses and a hard look on his face.
“Tmz this is for u :),” Justin captioned the picture. The Biebs’ pic comes as a response to the story the website...

The summer may be ending but the heat isn’t dying down in regards to Justin! The sexy singer was looking more ripped than ever hanging out with friends on Aug. 28. Was the he trying to make Selena take notice?
Justin Bieber may never put a shirt on again — not that we’re complaining. In a picture posted by his Bff Lil Twist on Aug. 28, the Biebs is in full-on pool-boy mode, looking hotter than in the summer sun along with a few shirtless buddies. Will the pic make Selena Gomez wish she wasn’t on a world tour?

Suns out, guns out — that’s basically Justin’s motto these days, and it was on full display on Aug. 28. Lil Twist posted a shot of himself, Justin, and a few other friends rocking out shirtless, soaking up the California rays.

While Selena Gomez was accepting her award for Best Pop Video at the VMAs, Justin had plans with another ex-girlfriend. Is he really getting back together with his ex Jacque, or is he just trying to make Selena jealous? Read on for more details!
Everyone was wondering why Justin Bieber didn’t make an appearance at the VMAs — and it turns out it’s because he was too busy hanging out with a special someone! On Aug. 25, the “Beauty and a Beat” singer spent the night with ex flame Jacque Pyles, whom he dated briefly in 2009. Does this mean Selena Gomez is officially out of the picture?

Cameron chats to Doctor Who documentary maker Chris Chapman about animating The Ice Warriors, missing episodes, and much more...
I caught up with Doctor Who DVD documentary maker and BAFTA nominated director Chris Chapman to chat about his animated reconstruction of The Ice Warriors, which is now available on DVD (details here) and his career so far in the world of Who documentaries.
How did you get involved in the animation of the missing episodes of The Ice Warriors?
I've been a Doctor Who fan since I was a kid. And first I became a producer of documentaries and so I thought, 'Well, why aren't I making Doctor Who documentaries?' I got in touch with Dan Hall at the classic Doctor Who range and said, 'Please let me do Doctor Who documentaries,' and he said yes. And then I made Doctor Who documentaries,...

Did Justin have ulterior motives when he asked Ariana to post their kissing pic? Considering Justin and Selena Gomez are currently on the outs, it’s possible that the Biebs wanted his ex to see him smooching the adorable ‘The Way’ singer. Keep reading and watch the video!
Ariana Grande was recently asked about her famous kiss with Justin Bieber on Aug. 8 during an interview with MTV. The singer, who was supporting Justin on his Believe Tour at the time of the smooch, said she couldn’t stop “smiling” after the Pda moment and Justin insisted she post it on Twitter. Poor Selena Gomez!

During an interview with MTV, Ariana, 20, said:
I think [fans] had trended #JustinAndArianaSelfie or something like that, so I was like, ‘we have to do this.’ [Justin] was like ‘Yo, let’s take a picture.

Well this looks cozy! Following his sell out show in Tampa, Fla, Justin and his support act Ariana got pretty close backstage, and then they engaged in some Twitter flirting. Is he totally over Selena Gomez?
At the exact same moment that Selena Gomez posted a cute pic with David Henrie on Instagram, her ex Justin Bieber was pictured kissing Ariana Grande! Ariana, who is supporting Justin on his Believe tour, posted this intimate pic on Twitter, where she called Justin “crazy.” Are they more than friends?

Justin, 19, performed in Tampa on August 8, where he was supported by both Cody Simpson and Ariana, 20. Following the show, Justin and Ariana got pretty cozy!
Ariana tweeted the kissing picture with the caption “@justinbieber you’re crazy and nonna says thank you, she loves you.” Ariana is referring to her adorable grandmother who she said is “in love” with Justin.

This was bound to happen — Selena did say she and Justin weren’t together, right? Justin definitely didn’t look to be tied down on August 2 when he cozied up to someone else!
Selena Gomez might be regretting her decision to let Justin Bieber play the field — because he looks pretty good at it. On the opposite side of the country in Brooklyn, New York on August 2, the Biebs appeared to be at his most flirtatious, flaunting his freedom.

Selena Gomez who? Justin Bieber is seemingly doing everything he can to prove he is single by partying with numerous girls in New York City. While in the Big Apple, he was rejected by a blonde, but then proceeded to move on to a brunette!
Justin Bieber loves his late night parties — almost just as much as he loves women! Now that Selena Gomez has said she is “definitely single,” Justin seems to be reacting in a not-so-sad way — he’s partying with tons of pretty girls! Is this his way of saying he’s “definitely single” too?

Andrew reviews the terrific new Doctor Who: Regeneration DVD compendium, featuring previously unreleased story, The Tenth Planet...
There's something inherently odd about the concept of a Doctor Who coffee-table-style DVD compendium, as if those people who wear hats indoors have been identified as an untapped market ready and willing to critically examine Time and the Rani as a Kierkegaardian polemic. Still, it's a nice shiny binder, and it's got The Tenth Planet in it.
Previously unreleased on DVD, The Tenth Planet is presented here with the other regeneration stories (though no extras), and episode four is entirely animated to complete one of the more important stories in the show's history. The animation is easy to accept, blending in well with the existing footage and providing us with some striking images of the Cybermen (here in their Spare Parts, hulking relic stage of development...

Teen Wolf's third run promises as much entertainment and enjoyable action as ever. Here's Ron's review of the season opener...
This review contains spoilers.
3.1 Tattoo
There are times when I watch Teen Wolf that it makes me feel incredibly self-conscious about my actually viewing the programme. There are a lot of elements I like about the show, but every so often it lingers a little too long on a shirtless male actor in his early twenties and I'm instantly reminded that this isn't the kind of show a guy over thirty is generally tuning into. That's kind of a shame, because I feel like if it was a show on The CW, it would be getting much more of the attention that it deserves for actually being a good action series.
The opening is cold, with a mysterious girl picking up a gravely...
