Strong finale

Many of us that remember the media circus around this case probably still have it installed in our minds that Colin Stagg was the culprit.

This does go someway to redressing the balance.

I have to say I have never heard of Napper but have vague recollection of Spagg outside court.

A bit slower this episode but the artistic licence had to be removed to confirm the facts.

A great performance by the cast and well written but crossing fact and fiction means we don't know how well Niamh played Sadie.

Channel 4 do great shows but don't seem to have the exposure of the other major channels.

I only found this series by chance on the all 4 site a few weeks after transmission.

A real gem of a find.

Superb final episode.

Colin Stagg is now in Police custody, Sadie's evidence is questioned, and a trial awaits.

Deceit, his or her's, that's what this final episode is all about.

I thought this final part was absolutely fantastic, what an unusual direction this story has gone in, after the curve ball, and some of the events in the last two episodes, it played out the way I was expecting it to, an absolute tragedy.

It does make you question some of the workings of the so called British justice system.

The acting of Niamh Algar has been of the highest order, she was sublime here. Some of the best acting I have seen this year, I would be stunned if this didn't win an award or two.

This really is drama at its absolute best, well done Channel 4! 10/10.
