Hair journey from country misery to shallow luxury
MegaSuperstar19 February 2020
There are many kinds of misery and some of them are shown in this documentary. From absurd luxury rituals to simple people's ignorance through religious beliefs, several topics converge here: hedonism of modern societies, lack of education and poverty, religion and myths,...this film shows different cultures and social strata's life perspectives and way of doing by following the trip of hair cut in Indian temples to honour god to its final destiny - rich women wishing to get hair extensions in a self-indulgence exercise used as a proof of success and glamour. Hair becomes a mere merchandising item and not very glamorous indeed.
