People don't seem to get the symbolism of Meridith on the beach. She can't get to Derek because he is dead. The closer she gets to death, the closer she gets to Derek. Fantastic idea by the writers, but appears to be lost on people.

SO SAD

Warning: Spoilers
Another episode of feeling a giant lump in my throat. It's just so crazy to be reminded that the initial panic was just a little less than three years ago. This portrayal is so accurate.
One of the most difficult scenes for me that prompted me to write this review was seeing Maggie lose it because she lost 53 patients and the sincerity and the talent it took to act in that scene... major kudos.
Although - these actors probably didn't have to work as hard to portray the suffering Covid has caused - as we have all been deeply affected and still are till this day.
I'm curious if more recent seasons will adapt with the times - but as of now ... this is so difficult to watch. But it's done so well.

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Richard, he holds a speech at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, he is speaking about the covid pandemic. Meredith ended up in a hospital bed, after a mysterious accident at the parking lot. Meredith fell out of her hospital bed, Maggie and Andrew are trying to help her. Meredith sees Derek in her dream at the beach. Meredith has got the covid virus. Carina delivered Val her daughter, her name is Luna. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 17, such a great Episode again. This Season seems to be really solid so far, nice to see Meredith her dreams about Derek. It gave me goosebumps in combination with the music in the end!
Couldn't of asked for a better episode

This episode was amazing. It had an interesting medical case, new interns and pitch perfect grey's drama. My heart absolutely sank when Meredith and dereks theme played when they were on the beach, absolutely heart wrenching. I'm living how grey's is tackling COVID and how serious it is and how it appears realistically within our daily lives.
COVID is real

Meredith is not only afraid of not waking up but also of dying with no one by her side. I love how this season is projecting the victims of the atrocious virus and how they died alone and scared. This is a perfect reason why people must wear a mask and take the COVID seriously.

Annoying and unbelievable

Warning: Spoilers
I know they won't but it would be so great if they killed off Meredith Grey's character. Why does her staff (or the watchers for that matter) love her so much? So over the top and just plain mean. Also, no one looks like Amelia that soon after having a baby. But the cast does something no one can do better, wallow in self-misery and drama!
Disappointed
