Sex & Nudity

- There is no nudity in the film that is meant to be sexual.
- The main character is often shown shirtless while working out and exercising.
- The main character's bare butt is briefly seen (for about 2 seconds) as he changes his clothes.
- The main character is shown in his underwear briefly and he changes his clothes.
Violence & Gore

- The violence is this movie is extremely heavy and very disturbing. Lots of it is very graphic, but some of it just happens in the background and is not specifically focused on, but it is all more psychologically disturbing rather than viscerally so.
- Lots of radio and television news clips are heard discussing violent acts and political turmoil throughout the film.
- The main character has several visions of him killing several people and wreaking havoc on his town, and all of these are later played out. Lots of fire and dead bodies are seen.
- The main character assembles a suit made out of bulletproof Kevlar and equips himself with an MP7 and a MAC-10. He then drives into town and begins to slaughter everyone and anyone in his sight.
- The main character blows up a police station and several police officers go flying backwards on fire due to the explosion.
- The main character corners about 7 women in a hair salon and jokes around with them and then walks out. He then comes back in, corners them again, and shoots and kills all of them. Part of this scene goes in slow motion. (Very disturbing. Most graphic scene.)
- The main character robs a bank and shoots and kills a couple of people behind the counter. One man attempts to stop him, tackles him to the ground and they begin to wrestle. The main character then pulls out a small blade and slashes the mans throat, and you see the man bleeding profusely and gasping for air.
- The main character stabs a cop in the side with a knife and you see the cop slowly bleed to death and die.
- The main character stuns another man with a stun gun. He falls, disoriented and in pain, then the main character shoots him in the head. Blood and chunks of matter can be seen splattering graphically.

- "Fuck" is used a total of between 70 and 80 times throughout the film (some of which are repeated in flashback).
- "Shit" is used around a total of 20 times.

- The parents are seen consuming alcoholic drinks during an evening after work. They then mention "needing a drink" toward the end of the movie.
- The main character is shown smoking a cigarette once in the film in a very brief sequence.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Very disturbing film. The central premise of the film is a man shooting dozens of innocent civilians.
- Many radio and television news clips are heard drilling several different drastic political viewpoints into the main character's mind, driving him to commit the unthinkable.
- The main character films video updates on his ideas of overpopulation and how the world would be better if he killed some of the population off, literally.
