When Sara the realtor returns to the house and comes inside, her hair is parted on her left for about two shots. For the third shot, just as she is moving to go up the stairs, her hair is now parted on the right.
When Simon takes out the piece of glass from Sara's mouth he cuts himself and he has blood on his fingers. After he removes the glass the blood from his first and second finger vanishes.
When Sara arrives for the first time at the house he has a conversation with Tom and we see Greg behind him with his hands near his body. In the next shot he has his hands cross and in the next shot his hands are back near his body.
When Simon breaks the glass with the case and presses his hand to the intact window, it is daylight outside. This scene is supposed to occur at night.
The small American flags stuck in the ground during the boy's baseball game in the park across the street from the 'Wicker Street' haunted house have 50 stars. The game is set in 1951, the flags should only have 48 stars as Alaska and Hawaii would not be admitted as states until 1959.
In the very beginning after the three boys are throwing/hitting the baseball, the shortest boy turns to get his book-bag and the tallest boy reacts, with his lips moving very quickly, but there is no sound.
Anybody who has watched the movie knows the cover art/poster for 'House of Bones' has absolutely nothing to do with the story. The character/creature does not appear anywhere in the film, it looks like the distribution company has just recycled art work from a totally unrelated project to save money.
The survivors attempt to poison the house by tossing the realtor's body down the well after filling her full of ammonia and DDT. You might expect the normal reaction of the house which hasn't eaten since 1951 to being poisoned would be to projectile vomit the tainted offering and disgorge any other remains/contents from past meals out of the wellhead. The house is supposed to be alive, have the characteristics of a sentient organism, instead a creature resembling a Sith Lord (from the Star Wars franchise) crawls up and out over the rim of the cistern having no logical connection to the story. This unmotivated action disrupts developing and supporting the house as a living entity and the primary character in this story?
