Pathetic
patgraham3@aol.com4 July 2021
I think the writer/writers went to a library of famous authors, and pulled the first 10 plot parts and pounded them together, whether they made sense together or not! Completely unbelievable and convoluted in a very poor plot, with no redeeming value. Sad cuz it "could" have been so much better.

Blah at best

Warning: Spoilers
It was written as if we should feel sorry for Aubrey but I did not at all. I feel like she & her parents were out of line. Sam did lose it somewhat but this was after being mistreated by his supposed girlfriend who is pregnant by him and being shut out as well as being manipulated by his mother.

Odd Man Out
lavatch6 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
One can only feel for young Sam Doss, who learns that his girlfriend, Audrey Collier, is pregnant and expresses his eagerness to marry Audrey and become a responsible father. There was an unusual cruelty on the part of Audrey in shutting Sam out of the decision-making progress. Her snap decision to carry the baby to term and give it up for adoption was completely insensitive, and it was endorsed by her equally callous parents.

SPOILER ALERT: Fast forward to the ending of the film in which we learn that a year later, a healthy baby has been delivered and is now being raised by Audrey's parents! And we learn that Sam may be granted a token visitation!

Although well-performed by the actress, Sam's mother, Casey Doss, was despicable beyond imagination. She had effectively abandoned her baby boy Sam to the care of her mother. At the time of Sam's birth Casey was not even certain who was the father. She subsequently kills her own mother, then bludgeons Audrey's mom Jennifer and runs over Jennifer's husband Mike with her SUV. At one point, she nearly set fire to the Collier family home.

But the odd man out in the film is poor Sam. Even prior to her learning of her pregnancy, Audrey had made the decision to dump him The line that she used on him was for them to "just live in the moment," prior to her departure to Whittendale University. She thought she had the situation under control when she muttered, "Problem solved," thinking that Sam would soon be out of her life. But she hadn't counted on one annoying fact: Sam actually had a moral compass and decent human values in his life.

Terrible story, even worse girlfriend.
jeriahswillgdp16 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
There are many problems with this movie, the worst being how the lead character is a terrible girlfriend, yet it's abundantly clear that's NOT what the writers intended, she is portrayed as the protagonist. Yet, she completely disregards her wonderful boyfriend when she made the decision to give THEIR baby up for adoption. She doesn't even consider his desires at all, like not at ALL, before she "made up her mind".

And THEN its the boyfriend is made out to be the bad guy! Obviously he is upset. She says "he's so absurd, he's awful" because he wants to be a father... actually, just wants her to let him be a part of the decision. Then the parents act like he is some menace because he snuck into her house to talk to her because she was ignoring him. Do you know how rare the kind of guy like Sam is? An 18 year old guy willing to put his dreams on hold, work whatever necessary, to support his girl and baby? He is incredibly selfless, and the girlfriend is selfish and inconsiderate.

And then there's a scene with a lawyer saying, "It's her body, it's her choice, she has all the rights." Um, what? Abortion wasn't even discussed, not once! So no, after the baby is delivered, it's no longer "her body". That line was very strange, and wrong. Mothers have more rights yes, but Fathers do have rights! And should! The fact that they wanted Sam to have absolutely nothing to do with the child is very disturbing because Sam is a really good guy who really loves her.

One of the worst Lifetime movies I've ever seen. Terrible message, terrible story, terrible characters (except Sam).

What's The Point Here ?????
carolynocean13 April 2021
What a terrible movie. But I watched it anyway.

Audrey ,18 yearold teenager gets pregnant by "wrong side of the tracks " boyfriend Sam , and Audrey's snobby , boring , stilted, wealthy parents don't approve .

Enter the boyfriends mother ( Casey ) , who sees an opportunity here , probably monetary , and starts plotting . At least she has a personality , it's the only one you will find in this film.

The whole idea is so stupid, I mean it's basically about an unplanned pregnancy and two families far removed class wise .

Storyline is rubbish, acting is really bad , apart from Casey ( Sams mother ) who did her best with the script that was given her !

All in all, not good.

Warning: Spoilers
Yet another Lifetime movie where the protag is actually the jerk so the movie does its best to make an otherwise reasonable and harmless person (Sam in this one) the bad guy. I'm late to this movie (no pun intended) but I'm glad that other contributors picked up on it.

Seriously, don't waste your time. I generally like Lindsay Hartley's movies on here, and she's the only reason I attempted to watch but after seeing what was happening, I turned it off.

There's another movie with Poppy Montgomery and Ty Lawson (?) where her character accused him (her boyfriend) of something serious when they were young, turned their child into her sister, he goes to jail for a crime he didn't commit...and then they turn him into a killer anyway thus "absolving" the protag of her false story. Lifetime needs to let this terrible template go already.

Just OK

Audrey is in high school found to be pregnant. Her boyfriend, Sam, wants her to keep the baby but she wants to go to college. Enter the boyfriend's mother who's been absent in Sam's life for a while but is back to help Sam persuade Audrey to keep the baby. How she exactly does that will have you tune in. The movie, the plot, and the acting were OK. I would watch again

Warning: Spoilers
Young, Stalked, and Pregnant. Great Lifetime movie title. And a great line was when the bf said he "screwed things up". Taylor Blackwell is actually a good actress. Unlike most Lifetime movies, the star had two parents! How unusual! But major flaws are, as you watch the movie, what about the old man she robbed in the second scene? That's just old forgotten footage. Running over the dad with the SUV...come on! Was it made out of foam rubber? "We're going to Nevada and you're getting married". Nice line. Despite many stupid parts, it was overall an entertaining movie. Oddish ending, and looking at the timeline, that baby is quite mature for a three month old.

WORST LIFETIME MOVIE EVER!
narampadarath26 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
You should only watch it, if u like to see an innocent guy lose over the worst girlfriend ever, bad acting, worst script ever. I don't think the mom and dad of her had a job, since they were both always at home..... Is it normal that a police doesn't arrive after a gunshot, that should have been heared in the entire city? Don't watch the movie, unless u are a 13yo wanting to know how a pregnancy doesn't work..

Just stupidly halarious
payneluke7 January 2021
This film was just so entertaining due to how bad it was. Overall the acting was horrible and hard to watch, and just made me laugh. But I thank the director and writer and everyone else who wasted their time making this car crash of a story. I would recommend to anyone who likes mom fights and cringy acting. Hope this helped 👍

Crappy acting and storyline
momsipadonly15 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The entire premise for the story is a college bound student who doesn't want to in any way shape or form keep her baby. The dad offers all kinds of possibilities but she refuses which leads to some pretty horrible things happening so it makes no sense in the end she does exactly what the dad wanted. If she was amenable to it at all why not just agree. Nothing that happened should have changed her mind. Could have been a decent storyline if the ending hadn't made the movie make no sense at all. Acting was your typical crappy lifetime actors.

Awful Movie

Warning: Spoilers
I feel bad for Sam. He wanted to talk and be a part of the decision making. The parents just sit back and say it's your decision. They go as far to talk to a lawyer regarding the father's right. In the end, they end up keeping the baby. Why not have this conversation with the teenagers in the beginning and offer them support. Poor Sam from the wrong side of the track.

Awful movie
shawannamitchell23 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This was a horrible movie. Come on lifetime you can do better than this. The story line was awful. The girl gets pregnant and wants to give up the baby and Sam just has to deal with it. Really wth? If she wanted to keep it they would be telling him he needs to man up and be there. She treats him like it's all his fault she's in this situation. She ignors him and talks to him like he's nothing. The parents never even sit down with him. They just want to give away his child. Like this is horrible. All the Teenage girls that get pregnant and the guy leaves, here's one who wants to stay and he gets treated like crap. I feel for guys who have gon through this in real life. 😪
