I just saw this at the LDS Film Festival in Short Program #2. It was a great short film. Well acted, directed, and shot. Really emotional.

I sat in the theater after it was over crying for a bit. Well done.

After its end, the emotion is the basic gift of this short film defined by wise manner to remind a not so far, in time, cold- dark reality.

Thomas is a boy . His mother was interned in mental clinic, his father lives in Federal Germany, his grandmother cares by him.

But for him, the need to fix this gray reality becomes the most important purpose. With his friend, he decides to cross the border. The gesture has terrible consequences not only for the boys. It changes, in radical manner, the life of a border guard, the dedication to his mission destroying three lives .

A film to remind.

Bitter, realistic, precise detail by detail.
