No actual nudity is ever shown other than bare backs and side views.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The birth scene is moderately disturbing, with a lot of blood and Bella drinking the blood beforehand. We are told that her baby is eating at the uterus from the inside and during the birth Bella DOES have Edward rip open her stomach with his teeth to get the baby out.The bloody baby is removed and held by Rosalie who treats it as if it were her own son/daughter and Bella DOES die of blood loss.
  • In the scene where Bella falls to the ground during labour, her stomach almost hits the ground and you hear bones cracking, super intense.
  • Bella goes into labor and they realize her baby is going to die because the baby can't breathe. Rosalie injects Bella with a morphine and begs to wait for it to spread. Bella screams for them to do it right there. Rosalie cuts Bella's stomach with a scalpel. (we see blood in her hands and on the scalpel) Edward Bites her and rips her stomach open and gets the baby out. (she screams in pain) The baby is covered in blood and flesh as Bella's stomach is covered in blood and pieces of flesh. She dies and Edward stabs her in the heart with a syringe filled with his venom and bites her to turn her into a vampire. (bloody bite marks are shown on her body). This scene is very graphic/gory and bloody.
  • After Bella's death, Jacob walks slowly into the room where Rosalie is holding Bella's baby and Jacob is about to kill the baby, until she looks at him and he imprints on her.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scene where Bella is giving birth is extremely disturbing and intense.
