A family has a dark secret in this brief stop-motion short heavily influenced by the works of Tim Burton. (With one of the characters resembling him a lot.)
I personally liked a lot its cutesy goth aesthetic, somewhat reminiscent of movies like Frankenweenie and Corpse Bride, which gives the viewer a certain sense of security before the very few last minutes reveal the horror hidden underneath the apparent normalcy, ultimately leading to a gory conclusion.
It would nice if the story was continued or expanded in any way. Yet at the same time, I think the sudden end of the story adds to the creepiness factor.
