Those little shorts and bumpers Cartoon Network used to have back then were pure gold; in my opinion, many of them were a key-part of the visual identity of the channel, featuring the zany, irreverent humor that defined its early years.
"Thanks a Latte" is a neat, modern take of Droopy the dog, updating it to a contemporary setting which could work even to the present day, aging considerably well.
And it is also pretty fun to watch, showing how much can be done in mere two minutes.
This is apparently the only short Mike Bade directed, which is honestly a shame; I would love to see his personal take of other classic cartoon characters done in this same style.
