- On their first official mission to assassinate suspected "butterflies," Economos and Murn bond, and Peacemaker and Harcourt reach an understanding. But the whole job goes sideways with the arrival of Judomaster.
- The team goes after their first Butterfly, although Clemson still refuses to tell Chris what a Butterfly is because of trust issues. Vigilante tags along, and does the job when Chris can't, but the Butterflies capture him and Chris and torture Vigilante to get information from Chris.—Gislef
- As the team leave their video store, Chris complains about how tiny people freak him out, and explains about the tiny spaceship device that he found in Annie's apartment. Leota notices that Vigilante is peering out at them from behind a nearby dumpster, and Amelia yells at Vigilante to leave. He insists that what he's doing might be normal, and he can't leave because if he does so when she told him to, it will make him look small. Vigilante says that he's just checking up on Chris, and he doesn't trust the others, and they'll never be Chris' "best friends". He runs off, and Clemson says that they have bigger fish to fry, because they have to assassinate a U.S. Senator.
The team drives in their van, and Clemson briefs the team on their target, Senator Royland Goff. Goff is a Butterfly, and they need to take him out. There's a photo of Keeya's vagina in with Leota's tablet slideshow, and everyone shares a laugh until Clemson tells Lota to continue. He explains that Royland is traveling with his family, and they don't know if they're also Butterflies so Chris might have to kill all of them. Chris objects to killing kids, and refuses to trust Clemson without knowing more about what Butterflies are. He points out that the girl is a "butt baby" in his opinion, and Clemson explains that Royland's bodyguard goes by the name Judomaster and he's dangerous. Clemson tells Chris and Amelia not to kill the kids until Clemson tells him that it's okay,
As the team sets up near the Goff manor, Clemson and John talk privately and Clemson says that he doesn't tell Chris what the Butterflies are because he doesn't trust him. John asks about Clemson's past, and Clemson says that he's trying to make up for what he did then. He boasts of sharing a feeling and admits he's never done it, and John tells him that they're done setting up.
That night, Chris and Emalia set up a sniper post in the woods outside the Goff manor. Amelia has brought some trail mix to eat, and offers some to Chris. He takes some, then puts back the pieces he doesn't want. The Goffs approach the manor in their vehicles, along with Judomaster, and Chris hesitates to take the shot, saying the other bodyguard is in the way. While Judomaster and the other bodyguard stay outside, Amelia spots the family through the window in the dining room, walking emotionlessly. Amelia reports to Clemson that she thinks the entire family are Butterflies, Clemson says that they'll wait until morning to make sure.
The team wait through the night, and Chris looks admiringly at Amelia. He offers her his energy drink, and she accepts it. Chris asks how she got into her current line of work, and she asks how he did. They both talk about their fathers, and she says that after high school she joined the CIA, and then ARGUS and Waller found her there. Amelia goes to relieve herself, and Vigilante emerges from the shadows and tells Chris that he followed them in his "Vigilantemobile".
At the van, John, Leota, and Clemson listen in via the mikes.
Amelia comes back and Vigilante hides. Clemson tells Chris that they know Vigilante is there, and Chris tells Vigilante that they know he's there and should get out of the bushes. Vigilante eventually comes out, and Clemson tells Chris and Amelia that Vigilante needs to stay with them so he doesn't go off and mess up the mission.
The family goes to the dining room, and Mrs. Goff pours out glasses of a honey-colored substance, and the entire family drinks. Clemson says the family are Butterflies, and the family extend long tongues to drink the goop. He tells Chris to take out the entire family, but Chris hesitates. Vigilante tells Chris to move over, takes his gun, and cheerfully shoots Mrs. Goff dead. He shoots the kids, and Judomaster arrives and attacks Vigilante before he can shoot Royland.
Judomaster knocks out Amelia and then takes down Vigilante and Chris. Clemson realizes something is wrong, gives a gun to Leota, and the two of them go to help out their teammates and tells John to stop anyone who tries to leave.
Vigilante and Chris recover, but Judomaster keeps attacking them and knocks them out. The other bodyguard arrives and tells Judomaster that they should get the killers inside. Leota arrives and aims her gun at the bodyguard, telling him to drop his weapon. He drops his rifle and when Leota asks, says that he's not one of anything. Amelia tells Leota to kill the bodyguard, and insists that he hasn't seen anything. When Amelia yells at Leota to kill the man and stop prolonging things, Leota doesn't shoot and Amelia grabs her gun and kills the bodyguard. She tells Leota to make sure the bodyguard is "clean", and Clemson will want a sample if he isn't. Leota goes over and jams her knife into the bodyguard's skull.
Amelia finds Clemson, and tracks Chris on GPS. She finds him in the house and confirms that his heart is still beating.
Chris wakes up tied to a chair, and sees Judomaster and a tied-up Vigilante nearby. They're all in an underground cave.
Leota joins Clemson and Amelia, and tells them that the bodyguard wasn't a Butterfly.
Chris insults Judomaster, who isn't impressed and flicks Flaming Hot Cheetos at him. Royland comes in.
The trio enter the house and search it for Royland.
Royland grabs torture equipment, while Judomaster pulls the unconscious Vigilante up on a rope. The once-human senator puts jumper cables on Vigilante's testicles, then tells Judomaster to leave and report what happened there. Meanwhile, Amelia realizes that Chris is under them, and they look for the door. Leota finds a hidden entrance blocked off with a resin-like substance.
When Royland takes off his mask, Vigilante keeps changing his facial expressions so Royland won't recognize him in a lineup. When Chris refuses to answer Royland's questions about who sent him, Royland tortures Vigilante. Chris tells him that he won't give up any info and to continue torturing Vigilante, and Royland does so.
Clemson gives Leota some plastic explosives to blast through the barrier.
Judomaster exits the tunnel into the future, and John sees him on the surveillance cameras.
Chris assures Vigilante that he's not giving Royland anything, Royland takes out a pair of wire cutters and says that he's going to cut off Vigilante's toe. Chris says that he doesn't care and winks at Vigilante, and Royland works at Vigilante's pinkie toe with a dull blade. Meanwhile, Clemson finally gets the charge to go off., and the blast knocks Chris free of his bonds.
John rams Judomaster's vehicle with the team van,
Royland and Chris fight, and Chris grabs Royland's shotgun and shoots the senator in the head.
John gets out of the van wielding a tier iron and confirms that Judomaster has been thrown clear of the wreck, and is crawling away. When Judo master doesn't stop crawling on John's orders, John beats him over the head with the iron, and keeps hitting Judomaster until he's dead. John laughs in triumph.
Amelia confirms that Clemson and Leota are okay, and they yell through the barriers and Chris yells back that they're okay, as he unties Vigilante. Adrian asks for his mask and Chris gives it to him, and a Butterfly crawls out of Royland's skull and flies off.
In the van, a monitor shows suspected Butterflies across the globe in hundreds.
