In both of these episodes, there is a fourth wall break. In The Broken Part, when Mung is looking for Chowder in the beginning, he knocks on the glass of the TV. In The Meach Harvest, Mung runs to his car and turns on the radio singing the Chowder theme song.
The store Chowder goes to get Feet from is named "Feet Locker", alluding to the "Foot Locker" shoe stores. Similarly, the clothing store "Ladies B Us" is a parody of the national store company "Toys R Us"/"Kids 'R' Us".
The red bird who appears in The Broken Part looks a lot like Kazooie from the "Banjo Kazooie" video game series.
The training montage and song Chowder works out is a homage to the "Eye of the Tiger" song from Rocky III (1982).
