Can't wait for Pt 2!!!
fqbsvcv7 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This film was fabulous! It makes you laugh, and get a little anxious at times, but you let out a sigh of relief! Can't wait for part 2! I haven't heard if there are plans for a part 2, but I certainly hope there will be! After all the problems encountered to reach the destination, we need a part 2 to see this giant be completed inside & out..., and to float with Lowe & Cole after all their time, money, sweat and tears spilled over time. Please make it happen! I think it would be time and money well spent to see a happy ending for everyone involved. If you watched this part, you'll be waiting on the edge of your seat to see it completed! I can't wait!!!

What has been lost has been rediscovered
deal-173256 December 2022
The Ark of Lilburn rediscovers the native lifestyle of the blue-collar working class.

The culture of what keeps America breathing has been lost in the modern-day era but reborn in this original documentary.

What at first glance seems like a journey to move JUST a 50-foot boat from Georgia to Florida develops into a father and son finishing out a dream that was born so long ago. We watch closely as we follow the two along with their family, friends, and co-workers as they struggle through Hardship to complete the lifelong vision.

This documentary emotionally covers the relationship between a father's stern love and the son's grapple for acceptance.

Not only do we watch with anticipation and anxiety to experience the satisfaction of seeing the mission through. But we are taught the concept of working by the sweat of your brow and why we finish things through. The answer lies within the tears of both father and son and the gravitation they earned from the labor and toil it took to accomplish such an impossible task.

Very enjoyable!! Couldn't turn it off!!

This storyline was fantastic. The characters were authentic and immediately I started to pick favorites. Couldn't help but to be hooked by the story and root for the success of their mission!

The documentary-style flow of the film is well done, and interweaves actual interviews of real people who have polarized views of the direction of the mission.

Once you understand the difficulties of the tasks at hand, you almost can't turn it off until you see how everything turns out. I found myself rooting against the naysayers and pulling for the "heroes" of the story. I'm already looking forward to a sequel!!

Amazing Documentary!

Amazing documentary! The story telling is great, the cinematography is very high quality, the score is amazing, the editing is great, and the ponytail guy is an idiot who can't measure! The Kevin guy should have his own show following the ponytail guy around naysaying everything he does.

Props to the filmmakers for capturing this amazing story. The father and son are great, I think everyone who watches this film, will be able to relate to the relationship tension. I love everything about this show and it definitely tugs at the heart strings!

Amazing film A+++++ 10 out 10!!!! Can't wait for the sequel!

Amazing Documentary
Critic_19679 December 2022
All I can say, I was skeptical going in but when It was finished I was a believer. You're glued to the TV the entire time. Learning about this steel company, why the owner built this boat, his struggles, and now having to deal with an idiotic Florida man who can't use a measuring tape.

Everything about this show was great and the father/son dynamic was very relatable. The son needs to get a grip and be thankful for everything his Dad has done for him, during those troubling times. Props to the filmmakers being able to capture every moment of this story. I hope there is a Part two or sequel. 10 out 10.

The Best Ever!

Most documentaries focus on issues you'd be somewhat interested in, so it came as a surprise that there was such focus on such a small town, small company, with such large a large vision. The original music for this adds an extra layer of authenticity and care put in to the production. Cole Porter is no nonsense, no excuses about his priorities and beliefs. Great documentary, something you don't see every day... Jon Arrigoni comes in to save the day! Only wish they spent more time on how easy he made the move look after focusing on such huge debacles and unprofessionalism with the other movers!

Characters around every corner.
TrueBocephus21 December 2022
Needless to say when someone builds a boat inside a steal shell with an opening big enough for a golf cart, you know you're in for some rough seas. And to learn that it's just outside the heart of Atlanta adds to the very enjoyable confusion.

The film had it all. Cinematic footage, nail biting suspense, and even a man with a pony tail. But can he be trusted...?

Great film with killer production. I have yet to hear what's in store for the next installment, but it's safe to say I'll bite. Kudos the crew and the steel company for not killing each other though the filming process.

10 out of 10 will watch again, but with a life jacket.
