Short fantasy/sci-fi
kosmasp8 November 2009
This being a short movie, it's obvious that it has to convey quite a few things, in a real short period of time. Considering it runs 15 Minutes (which is quite long on the other hand for a short movie), it does spend a lot of time at the beginning, where it could be a bit faster getting to the point.

But then again, the beginning sets up the mood for the rest of the short movie. The acting is pretty solid and you could say, that it ticks every box a sci-fi/Fantasy movie should check. Another thing I should mention is the cinematography. It is really a great dark mood that is sets out ... in the end it's not really great, but it is a nice flick and could be a promise for the future of this filmmaker ...

the atmosphere

Warning: Spoilers
Reminding "Stalker". It is the first virtue. Second - the language. Not the last- the cinematography. A father. His dying daughter. The place for save her, after a long travel. The isolated island. The enigmatic helper. The bizarre cure and its significance. It is difficult to define it , because it can be reduced to atmosphere- inspired cinematography. Well crafted, reductible only at images.
