Did she fall, or was she pushed?

Having suffered a bad fall down the stairs, Jo wakes up with the realisation that she's lost a year if her life.

A fairly good, if slow start, I am mildly intrigued by this first episode, I'm not gripped.

Pacing was the issue for me here, it had a story, to tell, it's taking an age to do so, that said l, there is some good stuff here, I'm not sure about you, but I have vibes of a Colin Firth film called Before I go (I think it was called,) a stylish thriller.

Well acted, Eccleston and Lynch are always great, Connie Nielsen is the standout here.

I'm expecting and hoping this to develop into something intriguing and intense.

Solid, 6/10.

Jo Harding (Connie Nielsen) wakes up in a hospital. She had a fall in her house and was put in an induced coma. Now she cannot recall the last year of her life.

Her husband Rob (Christopher Eccleston) appears to be caring for his wife. However he also seems a little distant and even shifty.

As both return to their lavish home, Jo tries to piece her memories together. Rob has spruced up his image and taken up smoking again. Is he having an affair?

Jo has a vision of making love with a tattooed man? Was she having an affair and was it the gardener?

This Channel 4 series owes a lot to Scandi crime dramas. It is a slow burn full of aesthetics.

I wondered just what both did to afford that fancy house in the middle of nowhere. It was daylight when they left the hospital and night time when they arrived home.

There certainly is a mystery here, Eccleston plays it right as the husband who might be hiding just more than a few things. At six episodes it could also be testing my patience.
