When Steve Mobbs is on the big screen with Bart's voice dubbed over his and the Comic Book Guy spins around and smashes the screen with a sledgehammer this is a direct parody of Apple's "Nineteen Eighty-Four" commercial (which in origin is a homage to George Orwell's 'Nineteen Eighty-Four'.)
Dan Castellaneta spoofs his own character in this episode. In a dream sequence that Homer has, a blue genie (voiced by Castellaneta) talks to him, who is obviously a spoof of the iconic Genie character from Disney's Aladdin franchise. Castellaneta provided the voice of the actual Genie in Aladdin 2: The Return of Jafar (1994) and the cartoon series Aladdin (1994).
The title is a reference to "Bedknobs and Broomsticks".
Mapple and its products are parodies of Apple, the MyPod is a parody of the iPod, and its founder Steve Mobbs is a parody of Steve Jobs.
