Warning: Spoilers
A young punk, Sebastian, is released from prison. He wants to retrieve things he left behind at an aunt's apartment. Sebastian does not know what he is getting into. There are people not happy to see his return on the crime scene. Sebastian is overpowered and put on the first daytime bus out of Madrid to Ferrol, in Gacilia province.

He stumbles into a possibility to continue his life of crime, faking an accident where Raul, who works in a fish processing plant, feeling sorry for Sebastian, gets him a position in the factory. Sebastian, an ambitious young man, decides to prove his worth to Ramon, the head man of the business, who is impressed by the guts he shows. Ramon has been dealing drugs on a side line under the cover of the a legitimate sea food enterprise.

Eventually, Sebastian gets over his head after he knows of a plan in which a big shipment is expected. At the same time, Ramon realizes his right hand man, Antonio, must be sacrificed. Sebastian realizing his future is not assured, has no clue what Ramon has in store for him. The plot involves a Russian mafioso who supposedly wants to cut into Ramon's business.

This Spanish film directed jointly by Andres Luque and Samuel Martin Mateos, had some good moments. As written by Javier Echaniz and Juan Antonio Gil Bengoa, it has a good first half but everything falls apart once the creators evidently did not know what to do with the material. The finale is absurd, to put it mildly. There are holes in the plot with an ending that is not satisfying because it makes little sense.

On the plus side Carmelo Lopez does an excellent job as Ramon, the head of the crime ring. He is menacing and sly; he will do whatever to get away with the easy money he gets from the drug trade. Hugo Silva is Sebastian, a loose canon who rises within the organization only to meet a horrible blow. Carlos Sante and Celso Bugallo make an impression in supporting roles.
