Sex & Nudity

  • Teen couple Jake and Amy are seen kissing and they walk up stairs and you can see them walk over to the bed and Jake takes off his shirt. They are still kissing and they lay down on the bed. But that is all.
  • Jake is seen lying in the bed, presumably not wearing clothes (but is covered by sheets), it is implied that they had sex. Though Amy is fully clothed and standing by the door about to leave.
  • Teen's are seen kissing through out film, nothing excessive though.

Violence & Gore

  • An older teenager shoots a gun at the ceiling in a school before shooting himself in the head. The gun shot is heard, but no blood is seen.
  • At one point you see an older teenager cutting his wrists, and some blood is shown, but not a whole lot of blood.
  • Older teens get in multiple small fights, one that gets kind of physical.

Profanity

  • There are very few uses of profanity. But the words that are used are, hell, ass, and damn.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Jake is seen talking to a group of kids that are sharing a Marijuana cigarette, though declines when offered.
  • Teens are seen playing beer-pong and drink heavily.
  • In a few scenes, teens are shown drunk, and drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The whole plot involves teen suicide, bullying, teen pregnancy, etc, making the movie quite intense at times.
