decent acting and cinematography but an unpleasant story. girl who doesn't seem dumb agrees to date a guy who she already knows is a spectacular a**hole. he hones his craft at her expense. interesting soliloquy at the end when the guy tries to explain why he is just a nice guy taken in by his desire to find love. good realistic writing! most people who are like this guy actually believe they are really nice people. her ending comments are about being free and living her own life. it should be about questioning how she could be so dumb for so long.
