- Charles M. Schulz: Physical fitness has joined our interest in sports as a nation. A while back my daughter, Jill, got me interested in aerobics. We filmed one of Jill's routines and then created this scene with Peppermint Patty.
- Charles M. Schulz: Back in 1965 when we started our TV shows, most voices for animated children were done by professional adults. We decided to use real children, ages 6 to 11 in order to get a more authentic sound. Nearly 20 years ago, two of our first actors looked like this. Today they're in their late twenties.
- Peter Robbins: My name is Peter Robbins. I was the original voice of Charlie Brown in the Christmas special and "It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
- Pamelyn Ferdin: And my name is Pamelyn Ferdin and I started doing the voice of Lucy about 17 years ago.
- Chris Inglis: I'm Chris Inglis and when Peter got too old, I became the second voice of Charlie Brown.

- Charles M. Schulz: Joe Cool was a product of the late '60s. But times changed and music reflects those changes. When I saw the movie "Flashdance," I wondered how Snoopy would look in a similar situation. It started with the recording of the song by Desiree Goyette and Joey Scarbury
