Now This Is What I Like!
The eighth episode in the second season of Breaking Bad is an utterly fantastic episode. Nothing much happens in the action department, but there is no reason for action this time around. This episode introduces us to a slimeball sleazebag of a criminal lawyer named Saul Goodman. And oh did I love his character! Saul, who is portrayed wonderfully by Bob Odenkirk, is just truly a scumbag but man he is funny and his sarcastic jokes are very much worth watching this episode for.
In this episode, "Better Call Saul," one of Jesse's partners, Badger is arrested by the DEA and no one knows what to do. Jesse and Walt decide to hire Saul to help out, but little do they know who he is. Hank is sent back to his old job and while putting on a tough face, he is suffering from disorder related to the events that occurred in the previous episode.
Overall, such a fantastic episode and is one the best ones yet. The action isn't there, but the drama and even the comedy is definitely present. Based on the conclusion, I'm going to take a wild guess that Saul is here to stay. I think it's also pretty cool that Jesse has fallen in love. I'm eagerly anticipating what happens next. I rate this episode 10/10.
