One of three major filmed productions about or relating to the Port Power / Port Adelaide Football Club made within a five year period. The films are a half-hour made-for-television TV special 'Power Dreaming' (2016), the theatrical biographical short film 'The Rover of Tobruk' (2021), and the theatrical feature documentary 'This is Port Adelaide' (2021).
Nicole Miller, director of the feature documentary 'This is Port Adelaide' (2021), previously directed the half-hour TV special 'Power Dreaming' (2016) (TV), which was also related to the Port Adelaide Football Club, as well as the twenty-five episode 'The AFL Show' (2016) (TV). Made in the same year, 'The AFL Show' (2016) (TV) explained Australian Rules Football to a Chinese audience and followed the journey of Chen, an aspiring Port Adelaide Football Club player.
