Juan Brito passed away on 14th February, 2018. His legacy is tremendous. He was many things: ethnographer, poet, writer - but above all, he was a master potter. Pottery is earth, water, fire and air. Four elements which form the way we understand the world. Juan Brito understood the importance of observing nature. He understood the basic elements needed to survive in a cycle of creation: eating, drinking, staying warm - and breathing. He always wanted to maintain that balance of nature in his search for the human soul.
