- A docuseries that is based on the producer's original short film, Hope Sessions. Featuring 40+ minutes of new footage, ten minutes of the original film doubles as the first episode. In it, the coronavirus pandemic, socialism, and other political issues are explored as Minneapolis / St. Paul residents lend commentary on contemporary life and moving stories of how hope helped them SEE the light through the darkness. Discussions revolve around social and economic justice, equality, human rights, the coronavirus pandemic, the rise of Kshama Sawant's socialist campaign and other politics, and life's challenges from a narrative framework of hope. The producer's hope is that we will all begin to SEE the truth more clearly. That is to say that we are ALL human beings. And that acknowledgement of the truth will be the salvation of the planet. The second episode will speak to doctors, nurses, janitors and other hospital workers who were on the front line of the COV-19 pandemic and how they managed to find hope.—Valerie Rose
