It's a historic day for the people of Maipú. Is the first time that the local soccer team reaches the Seminfinal for a National Tournament. But a few hours before the match, Tito, the president of the Club, receives a call with dramatic news: Castro, the referee, has been bribed by the rival team. Tito realizes that with this scenario, the match is already lost. He shares his concern with a small circle of assistants and with the priest of the town, who is a soccer fan. In the middle of the debate on how to react to this unfair situation, they find out that the referee's mother lives in a home for elderly in a town nearby Maipú. Although Tito is not very convinced about it, the priest suggests a brilliant plan: Kidnapping the referee's mother in order to force him to play fair. Together, they prepare an impossible plan that will bring them more trouble than solutions.
