- The team investigates a scheme to rob tourists; Tani helps Girard Hirsh prove the innocence of his elderly uncle when he's suspected of murder; Tani and Junior work on the nuances of being in a new relationship.
- Chicago tourist Greg Dean was murdered, after his car was the victim of yet another robbery, which Five-0 finds crucially reminiscent of the "Fix-a-Flat" robberies, which had the robbers steal tourists' rental vehicles from Honolulu Airport. They work out their robbers' strategy, with a bribed mole tagging the cars, but are puzzled as the loot was allegedly Greg's wife Cynthia Dean's ring after they find her in the woods nearby. Greg Dean was protecting with his life a suitcase, which they find it in their perpetrators' house. A ruthless Samoan gang is after it and they have Cynthia. Tani helps reformed gentleman fence Gerard Hirsch whose uncle and second father, who is moving in with decaying health, apparently didn't just steal a snuff box but committed a murder for it. To prove his uncle innocent, Hirsch almost gives in when his uncle's friend-friend, who dealt with pawn-fencing, reveals that he knew that Tabitha May's housekeeper was shot in the eye, which only the police and killer would know. McGarrett receives a call informing him his spy mother Doris hired an English lawyer to hand-deliver a package to him four months after her death.—KGF Vissers
