A stage story written with careful regard for what the general public think conditions affecting the fortunes of theatrical people to be, introducing as a villain a deepest dyed "Stage Door Johnnie" type. Miss Lottie Briscoe has the bulk of the work and acquits herself particularly well. Plenty of exciting and novel incidents are crowded into the two reels and the entirety provides a good feature for any program. - The Moving Picture World, May 23, 1914
