You might notice that virtually the whole episode's script is being transcripted here on this site as a list of Quotes. That's because I have it as a download. You know why? I obtained the DVD-Rare release, but this episode appeared incomplete (halting just after the half hour mark) so I had to resort to a download to follow the missing piece in the puzzle.
I do not blame DVD-Rare. I am only too thankful to own that release. If your interests lie in long-forgotten, nowadays- ignored good ol' TV shows, tough luck buddy if you can't find what you're looking for.
I'm a Jamie Lunar fan. She was absolutely mesmerizing as Peyton. Those were the days, man!
In this episode, scheming Peyton gets a taste of her own medicine when Nick Corelli outfoxes the vixen herself. But she soon gets her own (emerald) back. She then realizes the hot rock is just too hot for her own pretty little hands, and joins forces with Nick, who has one more surprise in store for her...
I'm not saying it's the best episode, but because of what happened, I have it handy. It is from a great story-arc in the short-lived series, with Jamie having found her niche... she was born to play this part. If ever somebody was born to play a part, Jamie Luner was born to play vivacious Peyton Richards in SAVANNAH. It was her zenith, despite some fans saying it was MELROSE PLACE.
Like I said, those were the days.
What a tremendous pity that there is no proper official freely-available DVD-release of the kind you could buy in a high street store for this gloriously entertaining TV series.
