Loco (Barbara Eden) has taken on a prestigious modeling job that will pay her $500. She is mistakenly late for the assignment and is fired by Mr. Baxter (Don Shelton). She's already promised to lend $100 to Mike (Merry Anders), however, for a knockout dress to land the wealthy Paul Wendover (Seymour Rosen). Not wanting to tell Mike, Loco takes some of their furnished apartment's silver to a pawnbroker (Ollie O'Toole) to get the $100. When Greta (Lori Nelson) finds the silver missing she calls the police to inform that they've been robbed. Afraid of being taken to jail, Loco is desperately trying to avoid the police.
