Karen is all set for Christmas with her beautifully wrapped packages ready to deliver to her mother's home where she will be traveling. The only thing missing is a man. Karen is sleepless in Seattle!
But help is on the way in the form of the snowman that has been constructed by some kids in the neighborhood. In a vision, the snowman appears to Karen as William (Willy), who will be her knight in shining armor, helping her to sweep the walkway and hang Christmas lights. But when Willy gets too close to the heat as he and Karen roast marshmallows, he begins to melt like hot butter.
When Karen awakes from a long sleep, she notices that she has a new neighbor. Willy has morphed into David, who introduces himself and offers to shovel her driveway. Karen has met the man of her dreams, emerging out of the Jungian archetypal symbol of the abominable snowman!
