“Where’s Audrey?” It was the question “Twin Peaks” fans could not stop asking across all 18 hours of David Lynch’s Showtime event series. The director and co-writer Mark Frost kept the fan favorite character hidden until the 13th hour, and when she finally appeared on screen — seemingly confused and married to a character fans had never met before — the question of “Where’s Audrey?” only intensified.
Lynch ended Audrey’s story on “The Return” with no answers whatsoever. In her final appearance at the very end of Part 16, Audrey preformed a strange dance at the Roadhouse and then all of a sudden woke up and screamed in an all-white room where she was looking at herself in a mirror. Viewers were left predictably baffled. Was Audrey still in her coma from the bank-vault explosion in Season 2? Lynch refused to answer, but Mark Frost has come to the rescue in his new book,...

In 1996, Chris Evans and Danny Baker launched a show that would become as synonymous with 1990s as the Spice Girls and Eric Cantona.
Tfi Friday was the perfect show of its time, airing every Friday evening on Channel 4 and featuring as much Britpop and silly anarchic humour as you could ask for.
Ahead of its one-off comeback show this Friday (June 12), Digital Spy has collected just some of the most memorable and hilarious moments from its five years on air.
1. Shaun Ryder says "f**k" on live TV. In front of your mum.
Pity Chris Evans. With a mouth dodgier than the bizarre moustache he was sporting at the time, it was always going to be something of a liability bringing indie music's chief party-monster Shaun Ryder onto a family show that aired at just 6pm.
"If you don't swear tonight, I'll give you my shoes!" promised Evans, only...

Philip checks out Big Finish's latest solid, enjoyable Eighth Doctor audio adventure, Dark Eyes 2...
Dark Eyes 2 is the latest instalment of the Eighth Doctor’s continuing Big Finish audio adventures, comprised of four stories: The Traitor, The White Room, Time’s Horizon and The Eyes of the Master. This time around the Doctor finds himself, and former acquaintances, caught up in the machinations of the Daleks and a resurrected Master.
As an ongoing series, Dark Eyes appears to be set in the foreboding twilight of the Eighth Doctor’s life, following on from the harrowing events of Lucie Miller. Dark Eyes is titled after new companion Molly O’Sullivan, the last of the companions named by the dying Doctor in Night of the Doctor.

Helix appears to be getting messier with every episode. Here's Billy's review of the latest instalment...
This review contains spoilers.
1.6 Aniqatiga
The theme of this week’s Helix is getting better, after what seems like fatal injury, death or infection. Those characters (with the sad exception of Doreen), who you thought were goners all make miraculous recoveries.
The first of these is Sergio, who we see dragged away from where Daniel left him dying in the snow. For most people an ice axe to the gut would be a serious injury, but his military training has prepared him to shrug off minor scratches like that. In fact just to show how tough his is, in -sixty degree temperatures his blood doesn’t even freeze immediately. Perhaps I’ve underestimated him.
What might be keeping him going in the gallons of testosterone that Daniel and Alan have access to,...

If you are one of the few cool people who have not been watching Helix, or if you are amongst the millions who have watched it and know you need to rewatch to pick up the clues you missed the first or fourth time around, here is great news: Syfy will be airing every episode (that’s five so far) tomorrow (Thursday) night starting at 6/5c.
Seriously, if you have only seen each episode once, make sure to watch this marathon; you’ll be surprised at how much you missed the first time around. Plus, as with all serialized shows, you’ll notice things in earlier episodes that you know have been expanded in later episodes. Just trust me on this and rewatch.

Helix shows a market improvement in its fifth episode. Here's Billy's review of The White Room...
This review contains spoilers.
1.5 The White Room
It was with a sense of general dread that I approached the fifth Helix outing. Not that the Us TV-friendly level of horror in it scared me, it was more to do with how unrelentingly dumb most of the last story was. Yet, and this doesn’t happen often, The White Room turned things around somewhat.
The critical difference between this and what went before is that for the first time almost all the characters appear to have taken their brains out of neutral and selected a forward gear. There are some still making very poor choices - that I’ll cover later - but most of them aren’t the same people we met last week, who couldn’t find...

Director: Duane Clark. Writers: Cameron Porsandeh, Ronald D. Moore and Misha Green. Cast: Billy Campbell, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kyra Zagorsky and Mark Ghanimé. The SyFy Channel continues its sci-fi and horror series "Helix" with "The White Room." This fourty minute episode brought more intrigue as the villains continue to hide behind lies and misdirections. A research team also continues to be distracted as an infection riddles a remote science station. The pacing in this episode was a little more up-tempo and there were several more plot points explored here. "The White Room" was one of the better episodes for the series and horror elements were more present in Epis. 5. This showing began with the torching of a group of frozen monkeys. Events continued into the realm of strangeness, with the character and station director Hatake (Hiroyuki Sanada) wounding himself. Why is he so anxious to hurt himself, when so many other dangers abound?...

Fellow Liberal Dead-heads, this is Ryne from The Moon is a Dead World. I’ve signed on to do a sort of recap/review of each week’s horror hits, so welcome to DEADtime TV. Again, Kevin Lovell helps out with a review of The Following.
In case you missed it:
Flowers in the Attic (Lifetime Original Movie) – Saturday, January 18, 8 Pm
Lifetime struck gold with their remake/adaptation of V.C. Andrews’ classic Gothic story Flowers in the Attic, bringing the plot to the silver screen with a young but talented cast of characters that includes Heather Graham in a role that actually allows her to be wooden!
It’s a competently written and directed event that highlights most of the plot of the original; however, it does also feel slightly outdated thanks to the more ridiculous aspects of Andrews’ story. Still, Lifetime accomplished what it set out to do with the film,...

Helix, Season 1, Episode 05: “The White Room”
Written by Misha Green
Directed by Duane Clark
Airs Fridays at 10 Pm on Syfy
With the paranoia of the facility’s doctors increasing last week, and all communication cut off from the rest of the world, the situation in the facility continued its downward spiral last week. With the loss of Doreen, as well as Dr. Walker, the Cdc team didn’t end Day 4 in good shape either. This week’s episode puts Sergio and Daniel in direct conflict over Sergio’s latest objective, in another compelling episode that reveals more about the facility, as well as providing different perspectives on the effects of the virus.
Watching the progression of the disease from multiple aspects is a fascinating part of this episode. Observing Dr. Walker, Dr. Van Eigem, and Peter Farragut, all of whom are sick to varying degrees, does a...

Everyone is on high alert on Friday’s episode of Syfy’s “Helix.” In the wake of the shocking murder of Dr. Doreen Boyle (Catherine Lemieux), suspicion is at an all time high on the Cdc team. Plus, you have to tune in to see what the hell a burning “frozen monkey” field looks like. And in TheWrap’s exclusive preview above, a thrilling vector chase leads to a possibly deadly end.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of my current favorite show Helix; the “plus 7″ (DVR-watching) ratings for the show have reportedly shattered all previous viewing records for Syfy. That means congratulations are also in order for all those smart viewers, who have likely learned that this show is definitely one to watch at least twice every week.

The latest episode of Syfy's Helix leaves Billy feeling exasperated. Here's his review of Single Strand...
This review contains spoilers.
1.4 Single Strand
In terms of TV shows, the first four episodes are much like the ‘golden hour’ in rescue and trauma victims. Because if the person is to be found or saved, it’s needs to happen in that magic slice of time, beyond which the prognosis isn’t good. It’s my sad duty to inform regular readers that Helix celebrated its fourth instalment by effectively burying whatever chances it had of being plausible under a mountain of obviously constructed plot dross, before capping it with concrete.
From the outset in Single Strand, it became apparent that the stylish eerie corridor shots and atmospheric photography was a distant memory, and we’d now be subjected to amazingly implausible McGuffins instead of any form of realistic narrative.
