When Randy is practicing being a living statue in the police station, his thumbs alternate between being down and being raised. In addition, he starts with his arms loose, but when Natalie jumps on him he is holding his jacket in his hands.
When Monk, Natalie, Leland, and Randy are locked in the vault, it's during banking hours, which is in the daytime. The next scene wherein the cops find their car takes place at night. Then after seeing them struggle in the vault, the scene goes to the bank being open and the staff explaining why the vault can't be open, which takes place in the day.
There is no "master key" for safe deposit boxes. All safe deposit boxes require two keys to open. One is held by the bank and the other by the customer. If either key is unavailable, the only way to open the box is to call out a locksmith from the safe company to drill the lock open. It is highly unlikely Capt. Stottlemeyer would be able to pick the lock on the large box that's holding the loot.
