Over the period of a year, professors Phillip Slee and Rosalind Murray-Harvey, from the School of Education at Flinders University, used questionnaires and focus groups to collect data from over seven hundred students at Unley High School. Interviews were also conducted with key school and health personnel.
Alison Wotherspoon was the producer and director of the four drama vignettes contained in the film and was co-writer of the associated booklet.
This film was designed for viewing in upper primary and secondary school classrooms as well as in staff-rooms and broader school communities, and had the aim of prompting discussion and promoting change.
The film was produced as part of a Flinders University Research Grant involving Flinders University and Unley High School.
High school students worked with the director Alison Wotherspoon from the Screen Studies Department at Flinders University to workshop, script, and perform the scenarios featured in the film.
