Nude scenes with Andrea Delogu is a plus

This is not more stupid or more predictable than many other Italian romcoms of its caliber.

What makes it look weaker is that the production has necessitated a notable number of scenes to be shot there in Las Vegas, and the story structure cannot carry going to such lengths.

If and when you are doing a film that follows the footsteps of recent Hollywood hits, using even direct references to them (why? Naming names was really stupid) you lose gravitas. You confess to reaching for a low hanging fruit.

I won't get into details on why this fails as a "shot in the USA" European comedy as the overall IMDb score speaks volumes already. But something struck me:

We see Andrea Delogu nude in a few scenes. She's one of the most beautiful Italian women and has the ideal facial features for a romcom. Her acting doesn't suck either. The level of nudity was not excessive but notable, so I wondered how that was supposed to contribute to the calculated aims of the movie. Did they target a male audience? If so, the story had to have more elements to support that.

The strip club scene also involved some pornographic imagery of sorts, which was questionable. It's even weird for most Americans that LV's characteristics co-exist with those rapid marriage parlors, so, Italians getting lost in night life not only fails to make sense, but also eats away from whatever moral tone would have served the premise.

They have even had a short scene with that famous pawn shop guy from the reality TV series. It's not like they didn't spend money on this.

So why haven't they bothered to come up with a much more original and profound script? The production HAS gone to extra lengths for shooting in Las Vegas and showing us Delogu's natural wonders already.

It just doesn't add up. This is something between an acceptable romcom and a cheap parody of certain Hollywood hits.

Bad teaching

Not the best plot of the cinema's history. A movie full of advertising's with not entertainment at all.
