Movie Director and producer, Mohamed Jamel Nefzi was born on June 28, 1987 in Tunis. After receiving his High School diploma in Letters from the Alaoui school , in 2008, he opted to study English civilization and literature. So, he studied it for two years in the University of languages in Gabes. But due to major forces he found himself forced to quit University, and started working instead. He returned to Tunis to find a job in a company called the « Moulin d'or » specialized in the production of cakes. He worked really hard during one year and a half .
In 2010, he decided to return to studying. Yet, this time he chose another field, the world of Arts and Cinema .However, he studied Audiovisual and Cinema Arts in the Tunisian Center of Technology and Arts. He successfully graduated after three years of hard working and determination as an Assitant Director. in 2013, He started his professional career in the TWT television. And directed his first long feature documentary movie called from Black Friday to leaving Tuesday » about the Tunisian Revolution of 2011. His experience in tunisian television lasted two years. Later,he founded his own company of Media and Cinema Production under the name of Akkad-Production.
In 2015 , he started working on a new project, a feature lenghth movie named " 130 years of Alouists " its main idea is about the history of the National Eductional system in Tunisia. Alaoui school is one of the most famous schools in Tunisia .the Alaoui is considered as the first public institution that helped establishing the modern education in the society and marked the history forever.
