If you know anything about Santeria, and/or are a veteran, you'll appreciate this film and wish it was longer. The amount of times I said "oh hell no!" should've been recorded.
You can tell the amount of detail that Drew put into this and it provides a sense of excitement for the future.

I knew he was going to touch on topics important to veterans needs, but damn! The film takes you through what we might perceive as someone doing well and not struggling, but they may have deep wounds we can't see. Then even though we might get help, only some wounds maybe healed.

I liked everything about this movie. the only down side (which should be taken as a good) is that I wanted more. I feel like there was so much more that could have been explored here, more story to be told. Overall, the way that it was shot, the acting, the story. All top notch.

The concept of this short was very good. I think there could have been some type of overlay writing on screen in the opening scene of the uncle praying to explain what the religion was, would have made the middle make more sense, or of course a longer movie. But the acting was great, and the music and how it looks is good.

Really good short movie. The last scene touches home for so many reasons. Leadership/people assuming nothing has been done to help when people are fighting their own demons. Drew, I hope you keep making more movies and eventually leads to a full feature length film. A Combat Vet to Hollywood...congrats and continued success.

I followed Drew's skits for comedy, but him and Juston showed some good acting chops for drama and horror. Although some of the dialogue was a little cringey during the last scene in the bar towards the end. However the ending scene I believe relates to a real horror that plagues the veteran community whether it was intentional or not. For a first short film, it was very well put together and you can tell they put their A-game in it. I'm interested to see where else they go.

I really enjoyed this for a few reasons being Military myself things that happened on this short film are so relatable you hit topics that are very real for Military I personally got this to just support You Drew because You were in the Military and I am in Military still and we support each other, But when I watched I was really blown away I feel there was so much dedication put into this You and Your team are amazing great effort really I didn't expect to be what it was so in short great for anyone who is thinking should I get this yes you should it is very short but really worth it it is quality material.

I could see the passion and effort without a doubt but the movie didnt flow. To go from discovering injuries, to a random set of beads, to then instead of a short medical scene because the original idea was he hurt himself due to being drunk he takes his buddy straight to his uncle. If that doesnt happen I honestly would have enjoyed it more. Despite that jump I really enjoyed what came together and I would be happy to view any content Drew and company puts out.

This film was amazing. I mean you can tell the amount of research on the subjects and work put in to it. It is amazing to say the least. you can tell all the talent going in to this film. The research of the religion and the facts of the deity being a man in spirit form. Show they did the research , not to mention trying to make the languege original to Africa where the religion comes from. The military accuracy ( a given, they are vet's), I mean it is simply amazing really. I can only imagine if the long length film was developed and properly funded how it would look. A money maker for sure. The only thing I would say was off a bit would be the actor Drew and his Spanish, somethings didn't come out properly or spoken properly ( like when talking to the uncle). otherwise simply amazing film. Glad to be here from the beginning since this guy will fly high in the industry.

Didn't know what to expect, but it was definitely worth it to watch. Very good balance of plot details without being overbearing with the time constraints. Would definitely be interested in a feature length film of the same caliber. Also felt like anyone could enjoy this movie, no matter their experience with any of the references in the film.

I genuinely felt the passion that was put behind this project. I don't want to write any spoilers in this review but I loved the underlying message ! I promise you if you want to watch something heartfelt watch this movie it's filled with the typical military life that a good majority of us military and really what mainstream movies like to depict in their movies. I just wish it was longer I wanted more to see the story fully unfold.

The movie was great me and my wife enjoyed it being that we come from a latin background. I would be told stories of things like this as a kid picture was clear and stable, sound was great and the makeup was on point not overly done but not to the point that they looked fake..all around a great job just left us wanting more cant wait for the next project

I've always loved horror films, but this one is special. It shows how some people have wounds that you never really see, because they hide them. Not every wound is visible.
I can't wait for the whole movie to come out, I'd definitely watch it. It's worth every damn cent.

I wish it was longer but, I understand why it wasn't. A very great and interesting story was packed into that time frame. The ending had a much greater meaning then I thought it would. I can't wait until the next one. Keep them coming.

Loved the movie!! Was great and kept me watching. I rated it an 8 simply because it's the first movie out the gate and I know the future ones will just get better. This could be a series on tv or Netflix or whatever. This was definitely a great job for the first time out and look forward to seeing either new content or a continuation of this particular film!!!
