It's a shame Fresh off the Boat will end after six seasons but perhaps it's time had come after an uneven pattern of quality over six years. When it's good, it's okay, but when it's excellent it's incredible. This episode, directed by Kim Nguyen and written by Kyle Lau, sends up the Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, and really delves into issues of Chinese-identity in the USA, racist stereotypes, along with notions of success (e.g. acting). Wonderful to see Regis Philbin playing himself as host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
