"Losing Sam" Episode Falls Short of Expectations
hdoerr-021084 January 2024
After watching the Seven Little Monsters episode "Losing Sam," I have to say that it didn't quite hit the mark for me. While I appreciate the concept of losing a beloved pet and embarking on a heartwarming search to find it, the episode's execution fell short of my expectations. I would give it an average rating of 5 out of 10.

One of the things that stood out to me was the episode's slow pacing. It felt like it took a long time to build up to the climax, making the viewing experience feel a little tedious. Additionally, the plot felt predictable, and I found myself able to anticipate what would happen next, which took away from the element of surprise.

Furthermore, I found some of the characters' actions frustrating and illogical, making it challenging to invest in the story entirely. For example, some monsters didn't take the search for Sam seriously enough, which seemed unrealistic given how much they supposedly cared about their pet. This lack of believability made it hard for me to connect with the story on an emotional level.

All in all, I was disappointed with this episode and wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others. While it had some redeeming qualities, such as the relatable concept of searching for a lost pet, the execution left little desire.
