Lucy's Back In Court With Parley Baer as a Judge
kgraovac21 November 2023
After she takes a tumble at Mooney's, Lucy is advised by Mary Jane to sue for damages.

An okay episode, nothing special. Lucy pulls a Rob Petrie and trips over the ottoman while working overtime at Mooney's house.

Jack Carter, a hard-working character actor, does all the heavy lifting here as Lucy's lawyer. He makes a fake phone call to President Lyndon B. Johnson. The siren gag, where he is seen to be a literal ambulance chaser is very funny. Unfortunately, the ending, with him repeatedly trying to keep Lucy from standing up in the courtroom, is forced.

Parley Baer plays a judge in this one, just like he had back in Season 3's "Lucy the Meter Maid" and Lew Parker makes his second of four appearances this season - playing Mooney's lawyer here.

The best part is Mooney's fury after being served with a summons.
